What are Flower Essences?

Flower Essences are herbal tinctures made from the flowering part of a plant, which uniquely address emotional and mental aspects of wellness. Flower essences are not to be confused with essential oils, another botanical remedy that relies on the healing properties of flowers and plants. How are Flora Luna Essences Made?

Our essences are always made during the full moon to maximize energetic potency. Moonlight acts to activate the water in which the flower's essence is captured. Using both cycles offers a perfect balance of the masculine energy of the sun and the feminine energy of the moon.

We exclusively use small batch Artisanal Mezcal as our shelf-stabilizer and a little local, raw and organic West Sonoma County honey for taste.

We use ethically-harvested, organically or sustainably-harvested wild flowers to make our essences. 

Shelf life is typically two years. Essences are made-on-demand of order, so you can start counting once you purchase.

Our violet glass dropper bottles help to protect our essences from UV rays and spoiling.
