What are Flower Essences?

Flower Essences are vibrational remedies that enhance mood and emotional disposition. These herbal elixirs are made from the flowering part of a plant, which uniquely address emotional and mental aspects of wellness. They are made from imbuing the plant's energy into purified water and then preserving the water with brandy.

Flower essences are not to be confused with essential oils, another botanical remedy that relies on the oils extracted from flowers and plants. For more on the differences between flower essences and essential oils, check out our blog post.

How are Flora Luna's Essences Made?

Our essences are made exclusively under the full moon and include a full moon and sun cycle. Moonlight acts to activate the water in which the flower's essence is captured. Using both cycles offers a perfect balance of the masculine energy of the sun and the feminine energy of the moon.

We exclusively use small batch, certified Organic Brandy to preserve our essences.

We use uncut and organically or wild flowers to make our essences. 

Shelf life is typically one year if products are stored away from heat and direct sun.

Our violet glass bottles protect our essences from UV rays and spoiling.
